All meals are freshly-prepared at the campsite by our executive chef using handpicked ingredients and regional culinary techniques – you too could try your hand at cooking like a Sri Lankan alongside our chef!

- Each meal will be given at a carefully selected location with a unique illuminated setting.
- Dinner: Seven course dinner menu with signature dishes including a BBQ around the campfire, exclusive to Mahoora Elite.
- Breakfast: Continental and Sri Lankan dishes including fresh juices are available.
- Lunch: Freshly prepared traditional Sri Lankan meal.

Ever dined in a 12-acre private forest, surrounded by wildlife? Enjoy a surreal, alfresco fine dining experience in the wilderness with personalised butler service. Encounter curious monkeys and peacocks spying on you while you enjoy your 5th course, and perhaps even see nocturnal wildlife move in the shadows as you sit back and relax with a quirky cocktail by the campfire.

Dining > High Tea
Indulge in a delicious array of Sri Lankan fare set up at either the Recreation Lounge & Common Area, or the rock cliff overlooking the Udawalawe National Park. Create your own tasting plate with everything from savoury ‘Pol Sambol’ sandwiches and fish patties, to regional sweet treats and freshly-baked banana cakes! Made-to-order tea and coffee is available, along with herbal beverages and a range of Sri Lankan Cookies.

Feeling peckish while on safari? We’ve selected a beautiful location on the rocks by the lake to stretch your legs, with inquisitive jackals watching just 30m away from your tea cup! Enjoy a light picnic while inside the National Park, with bathing elephants and lake birds surrounding you and framing a slow-sinking sun on the horizon.
Your freshly-brewed cup of coffee or tea is complemented with Sri Lankan cookies. If you prefer cold water or soft drinks, just reach into the cooler.
